Depression and Grief

Depression

Depression may make the world look gray, sucking the joy out of life. It can lead to feelings of worthlessness, guilt, and hopelessness. Depression can be physically painful and disrupt sleep and appetite.

Grief

Grief involves sadness about the loss of someone or something, even if it never existed. Some describe grief as coming in waves, at times feeling overwhelming.

Counseling can provide a safe, supportive place to talk through the sadness, depression, or grief you are experiencing and find effective ways to cope and feel joy again.
